Dangers of Blogging

This is a response to Miller's English 10 Blog
Blogging responsibly is very important because blogs are a public place. Dangerous things such as threats can be posted on blogs. Threats could cause problems within the school. Also gossiping can also be harmful and embarrassing. Everyone in the world can read what is posted on the blogs. People in the world can see and read everything that you post. It isn't hard to get an account on these blog sites. Good things can also come from blogs because we can learn using the Internet. These concerns are very legitimate. They are things that we need to remember when we are blogging. It is important to remember once we post something it is their for everyone to see. There are many dangers that weren't discussed in these sites. Posting pictures of yourself can be harmful. There are online predators that can find ways to get your information. Personal information shouldn't be on blogs because everyone can see your blog. When students are blogging they need to remember that anyone can easily see what you have posted on your blog. Don't post anything that you don't want the world to see or know. Always remember this blog is a school project.
